3D Character Artist

As a 3D Character Artist with more than 8 years of experience ranging from VFX in Film, TV and AAA Video games, I am proud to have worked at some really great studios including Brain Zoo Studios, Virtual Toys, Blur Studios, Treyarch, Encore VFX and currently Naughty Dog.
While working with different Character Modeling Teams, I have created characters for cinematic, film, TV, and video game projects. I undertook responsibilities as a character artist for all aspects of character creation: poly modeling, sculpting, texturing, shading, and rendering. I've also created facial expression morphs and shapes, and even created and styled hair for characters both vfx and game workflows. I took on special assignments that weren't done before such as character morphing transitions, and took initiative for research and development on new workflows to improve pipelines. I reviewed and managed the art coming from outsource vendors, ensuring that quality and technical standards are met. I help mentor new artist, and lead on projects.
The creation process of a 3D character is incredibly fulfilling and inspiring. From the beginning broad strokes to the minuscule refining touches, I find great pride and joy in being able to bring a character to life. I welcome the challenges that each project brings, especially as the industry continues to grow and standards climb higher. Every character is an opportunity to grow, learn, and hone in on my craft. I'm especially grateful for the amazing team of rock stars that have taken me under their wings and shared their tricks of the trade. The community of artists I surround myself with has really made a huge impact on my work.
When I'm not completely immersed in my work, you can find me somewhere in LA eating good food, watching the latest VFX-heavy movie, or at home devouring a new season of my most recent favorite TV show.
